Guidance for Parenthood: Expert Support Every Step
Congratulations on reaching this significant milestone! The journey to parenthood can often feel like an uphill battle, filled with uncertainties and challenges that may have made it seem like this moment would never arrive. Parenting is both exciting and exhausting, and it’s common to feel overwhelmed amidst the excitement. Both therapists here truly understand that personally, as both are moms.
Adjusting to this period brings about significant changes in routine, sleep patterns, identity, responsibilities, and your relationships, all of which can contribute to feelings of stress and uncertainty.
Some difficulty adjusting to your new baby is to be expected, this is all new. Not only are you adjusting to being a parent, but if you’re in a relationship, or navigating parenthood on your own, that will be an adjustment as well. Rest assured; you are not alone. And remember that it takes time to transition into the role of parenting.
We’re here to support you and guide you through this time, whether you’re a first-time parent, adoptive parent, single parent, non-birthing parent, parent of multiples, or a parent to older children. Together we’ll explore coping strategies, navigate challenges, celebrate milestones, and discuss whatever it is that you’re needing at this time in your parenting role.
“Your little bundle of joy is happiest with a joyful parent, not a striving for perfection parent.”—Kendra

Working with children and their families was a foundational part of her early clinical work, and she continues to integrate that knowledge into her current practice, especially when addressing the emotional needs of parents, children, and growing families.
Kendra has worked with children and adolescents across a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and emotional concerns. Her expertise includes supporting families navigating challenges with emotional regulation, social skills, behavioral issues, academic performance, mood, and self-esteem. Kendra continues to hold space in her caseload for clients ages 12 and up, and she remains committed to ongoing professional development through evidence-based trainings to ensure she is equipped with the latest tools and approaches to best support clients and their families.
